Laura - Juice

The Laura is a handwoven basket, elevated with alligator straps at our studio in the Garment District of New York City. It came to be when the straps of my favorite basket bag from a holiday in Mexico broke, so Mr. Park and I used scraps of a beautiful green alligator leftover from a client's custom order to bring it back to life. It instantly became my summer go-to, carrying everything from my iPad on the E Train to my bikini in Capri and collecting compliments everywhere in between. With the help of a local friend, Laura, we partnered with the basket-weaver who made my original basket and added it to our collection.

True to the spirit of how the basket came to be, Eugi Park offers a refurbishment service for the Laura. When your basket shows signs of wear, whether from the subway or sand saltwater, send it back to us and we will change it out for you. A fresh natural basket or try out a new design for the season, the choice is yours.
